Kerry Kulkens Magic Shop was established in December 1969 under the name Kulkens Rocks & Gems as a family business. The first shop in Australia to open selling Crystals and Gemstones and sold quite a large range most of which we had fossicked for ourselves as a family all over Australia.We started to include with the sales of the stones information on their healing properties as well as where they were found. We also included tarot cards second hand books runes charms and spells into the range of products we sold.
Kerry then started to write the regular stars column for the local paper “The Free Press”
the article was called "Witchery"
this was then taken up by over thirty different papers due to the huge following it was receiving. Kerry started to appear regularly on 3aw Radio station
and was on this radio station for over 30 years with several different hosts. She appeared on The Mary Hardy show, The Don Lane Show, The Midday show
spanning three hosts, Mike Walsh, Ray Martin and Derryn Hinch.
Celebrities start ringing to see Kerry after hours or in private so the Media didn’t know they were coming. Our first Tattslotto winner
goes public telling the Papers about the numbers Kerry gave them to win the lottery.

“ Love Sex and the Stars”
With the first print run selling out.
With all the publicity and success come the religious groups wanting to burn the witch at the stake.
1980-1985
After several altercations with religious groups the shop in Belgrave burns down. Kerry reopens within two weeks with daughter Sarah doing readings as well. Kerrys book is made into a Video of the same name. Two-page article comes out in "Australasian Post Magazine"
Promoting the "Love and Luck potions"
that Kerry has been selling and their success.
Kerry and Sarah are booked out for weeks in advance for readings.
1990-2000
Kerry’s Second book comes out “ Guide to Love Sex and the Stars” and is still selling strong today. Kerry and Sarah are now appearing regularly in Magazines, Newspapers, radio and TV. The shop is continuing to be run by the family under the Trademark Kerry Kulkens since Kerry's passing in 2005.
2005-2015
Kerry’s Second book comes out “ Guide to Love Sex and the Stars” and is still selling strong today. Kerry and Sarah are now appearing regularly in Magazines, Newspapers, radio and TV. The shop is continuing to be run by the family under the Trademark Kerry Kulkens since Kerry's passing in 2005.
Sarah is running the shop with her three daughters. She quite often gets asked to fly over to different countries to do readings for some of her clients who do not wish to be seen coming into the shop at Belgrave. There is a huge waiting list for her private readings, classes, lectures and fundraising activities. She is very passionate about helping the local CFA and other organizations following in her mothers footsteps.
2015-2020
Sarah is currently running the shop. Doing private readings. she writes articles and Horoscopes for over 300 different publications throughout the world. She runs classes on numerous subjects. appears regularly on Television and Radio programs. All this while writing books and doing community work following on in her mothers footsteps along side her own daughters and grandchildren. At present she is madly typing up all the hand written notes from her grandmother, mother and other family members into several books to be published over the next few years.
2020: The year we turn 50 years old.
2020
was to be the year of our 50th birthday celebration. COVID -19 has put things behind a little but will still happen. We have several books ready to be published.
Sarah is running her classes doing phone and face to face readings.
Sarah is still writing for numerous magazines and newspapers all over the world along with doing readings, and charity work.
