Welcome to Kerry Kulkens Magic Shop, Est. 1969 - where we offer a wide range of products and services that have been trusted and sought after for over 50 years.

Our story begins in December 1969 when we established the Kulkens Rocks & Gems as a family business. We were the first shop in Australia to sell crystals and gemstones, which we had personally fossicked for all over Australia. As a family, we included information on the healing properties of the stones and where they were found, along with tarot cards, second-hand books, runes, charms, and spells.

Our founder, Kerry, then started writing a regular stars column for the local paper “The Free Press,” which quickly gained a massive following. She started appearing regularly on 3aw Radio station and was featured on various TV shows, including The Mary Hardy Show, The Don Lane Show, and The Midday Show, spanning three hosts: Mike Walsh, Ray Martin, and Derryn Hinch.

With all the publicity and success came religious groups wanting to burn the witch at the stake. Despite several altercations, we continued to serve our community until the shop in Belgrave burned down. Kerry re-opened within two weeks with her daughter Sarah doing readings as well.

Since then, Kerry's first book "Love Sex and the Stars" has been a huge success, with the first print run selling out. Her second book "Guide to Love Sex and the Stars" is still selling strong today, and Kerry and Sarah are regularly featured in magazines, newspapers, radio, and TV.

Today, Sarah is running the shop with her three daughters, providing private readings, writing articles, and horoscopes for over 300 different publications throughout the world. She runs classes on numerous subjects, appears regularly on television and radio programs, and is very passionate about helping the local CFA and other organizations, following in her mother's footsteps.

Our spells, both ancient and contemporary, have been tried and tested thoroughly, and we offer formulae so you can find out for yourself.
